Stew is a dish from home. But what about the typical meat stews Betawi? (Batavia) certainly will not be much favor with the other stew recipes ..
Ingredients for the gravy recipe:
* 500 gr beef
* 5 tablespoons soy sauce
* 250 ml water
* 2 cm galangal, crushed
* 2 bay leaves
* 2 stalks lemon grass
2 tablespoons oil
* Fried Onion to the top
puree:
* 6 pcs shallots
* 3 cloves garlic
* 2 cm ginger
* 3 BTR fried hazelnuts
* ¼ teaspoon shrimp paste
Coverage:
1 teaspoon pepper, roasted, mashed
1 teaspoon toasted cumin, ground
How to make the meat Semur:
* Prepare a skillet, add meat, spices, soy sauce, ginger, bay leaf, oil and lemon. Knead until the meat is rubbed with spices.
* Turn on low heat, add remaining water and cook until soft cooked stews. If not yet tender stew meat can add enough hot water.
* After the stew cooked, add the cumin and pepper seasoning that has been roasted to ½ teaspoon, stir well. Serve with a pinch of fried onion.
